<p>When we get something wrong, we correct it openly. The procedure:</p>

<li>The error is acknowledged in a separate entry on this page (the corrections log below).</li>
<li>The original post is updated — the correction is inline, dated, and labelled.</li>
<li>The corrections entry links back to the original.</li>
<li>The original stays up. We do not quietly delete and reissue.</li>
</ol>
<p>This applies to factual errors. Typos and small clarity edits do not get a corrections entry.</p>
<h2>How to flag an error</h2>
<p>Use the <a href=”/contact/”>contact form</a>. Include the post title, the specific claim, and what you think is wrong. A source for the corrected version helps.</p>
<h2>Updates vs corrections</h2>
<p>When a rule, price, or opening hour changes — the NIE process, beach parking fees, <em>paseo</em> bar hours — the post is updated with the new date, but it is an <em>update</em>, not a <em>correction</em>. The previous information was right when published. Corrections are for things we got wrong at publication time.</p>
